We must move to 100 percent clean, renewable energy, and we need to do it now. Burning fossil fuels and other gases traps heat in the atmosphere, warming the planet and setting off a dangerous chain reaction. We are already seeing the results, longer droughts, rising seas, stronger storms, and ecosystems pushed to the breaking point. This is no longer a future problem, it is happening right now.

Clean energy is also an economic opportunity. Investing at scale will create millions of good-paying jobs, protect workers during the transition, put frontline communities first, and modernize our energy system from the ground up. In Congress, I will fight to pass real, detailed legislation, likely in phases, that builds on what already exists and pushes it further. I will work with the strongest voices in the House and Senate, listen to scientists, labor leaders, and climate advocates, and help write and advance laws that deliver clean energy, accountability, and a livable future.
